Susan boyle's hot
As she sang I dreamed a dream
Simon was not
As he tried to be so mean
But the man ' most would like to hate is still loved anyhow
because he is such a forthright mate' try to understand him now

"What's your name dahling?"he asked with a squirmish grin
To some he seemed about to commit a most terrible sin
But she answered with a smile,"My name is Susan Boyle."
I want to become a professional singer and I am here to sing.

"How old are you?' he asked. "Forty seven," she replied
As she rocked her hips stomped her feet, and then the crowd went wild.
Simon's eyes were raised in wonder, but not in love or praise
At this sweet woman who seemed so gentle meek and mild
'And what are you going to sing for us?"he asked still seeming mean
I am going to sing for you "I dreamed a dream"
His eyes once more were raised in utter disbelief
But Susan's voice rang in a tone which brought us much relief.

The crowd went wild again and Simon's eyes were raised
This time it seemed to be in wonder love and praise.
And now the crowd seemed wilder than ever applauding like never before
They shouted they clapped, and tears flowed from the eyes of Demi Moore.
Oh several cried ,their tears they could not hide as they listened to her song
A song which earned for her a standing ovation.

Surprise!Surprise! they all agreed Surprise without a doubt
Surprise indeed they all agreed as the cheers all rang about.
So thrilled was she as she threw sweet kisses
One who never has been kissed
O Susan sweet Susan you don't know what you have missed.
She almost missed the Judges comments
So back to the stage she was sent.

With head held high and big bold steps she reurned to hear her verdict
But never in her wildest dreams such praise did she predict.
As the judges with unanimous voices apologised and said yes

"Susan you are a tiger "said Simon the not so simple' but wise
gleams of admiration showed in his very eyes.
"I don't know about that" she replied enjoying every bit
Of that very special moment in time when she knew she was a hit.

Surprise surprise! "Britain's Got Talent" judge Amanda Holden doesn't want Susan Boyle to undergo a makeover. She wants to maintain the mystique, which will certainly be lost, but I think most people in our beauty-centric culture want this woman to be reconstructed as part of her success story.

Other bloggers have beefed about the fact that so many people were shocked to hear such an unattractive woman sing so well. I think it was her age, more so than her looks, that surprised people. Where has this talented woman been? Imagine if she were an equally frumpy 22-year-old woman. Would the global response been the same? Not even close.
